Sentido is a new, upcoming European band, consisting of six dedicated musicians with different musical backgrounds.​Their love for jazz and improvising, combined with their openness towards other cultures and passion to create beautiful music, makes the perfect blend for their new musical adventure. Sentido, a contemporary atmosphere arising from the magical power of music.

 

Truly committed and straight from the heart, they share their music, métier, skills and so much more, making a constantly inspiring challenge of this project.

 

The result is a truly unique bonded mixture of Traditional Music, Flamenco, World, Indian sounds, Jazz, in which invoking melodies, intoxicating grooves and intense harmonies produce a very personal sound, revealing the band members’and their personal musical sensitivities.

 

The Sentido of the music: a solo, a bass line, a chord, a drum riff, a melody, a voice…   intention, meaning, significance, sense and direct exchange of energy. Modal music is their base for mutual understanding and might open Sentido’s interplay for guests, musicians from other cultures to join the band and walk along through the project.
